Individual start since you can register at any time of the year.

Freedom of learning: You can learn when and where you wish (e.g. at the weekend at home). You need not to go to university since you can download what you need. That helps you to save time, travelling and accommodation costs.

You yourself decide the length of your study which depends on the speed of completing a study period. One study period comprises the teaching material of one semester.
